What's included: a full history and examination, wound care or treatment on the day where appropriate, prescriptions where clinically indicated, and a written plan — including when to come back, and what to watch for in the meantime.

Well suited to: anyone who'd otherwise be weighing up a long emergency-department wait against "I'll just leave it" — minor presentations deserve a timely, unhurried assessment too.

Personalised weight management with a nurse practitioner — your history, your metabolic picture and your goals set the plan, not a one-size template.

What's included: an initial consult covering your full medical and weight history, a plan built around what's realistic for your life, and scheduled review appointments so the plan adjusts as your results come in — rather than a single prescription and a six-month gap.

Well suited to: anyone who wants a clinically supervised, evidence-based approach rather than a generic program — including where medication is a reasonable part of the plan.

Continuity of carer with an endorsed midwife through pregnancy, birth and the early weeks after — one known clinician across the journey, rather than whoever's rostered on.

What's included: antenatal visits built around you, birth planning and preparation, and postnatal follow-up for you and your baby with the same midwife throughout.
